About Conferences


We will be doing student-led conferences this year. All graded work will be kept in a folder in my room. At conference time (or any time you wish to view it), your student will show you the folder and explain the things we have been doing in class. He or she will also explain any mistakes that might have happened on tests and how they plan to correct those in the future. My goal is not only to give them back their graded work, but to make sure they understand where they might have gone wrong. If parents wish to speak to me alone, students may be excused after they make their presentations. This helps to make the student an active part of the conference process.
